28 Days Connection First Journey
Day 3, Gratitude
The element of the day is gratitude, an incredibly helpful way of supporting connection.
Good Day my dear friends,
When I opened my eyes this morning while still in bed and saw the already lighted night, I could hardly wait to jump out of bed. From the incidence of light I could tell right away that it was a cloudless day. And I am thinking to myself with joy,
“I can’t wait to write this text today for gratitude, which I am very much looking forward to.”
With my, almost, daily selfmade cappuccino, to go outside on the east-facing front yard of the house, at the place where the sun first falls on our property; the cool fresh air in the morning, which sometimes makes my pores tingle; the feeling of the warming sun on your face; the scent of the cappuccino, Mhhhmmmm-- in this moment the gratitude comes out by itself.
I then like to speak my gratitude to myself, quietly but hearable, to the environment and to the Creator. Because hearing myself helps me to arrive at that moment.
What do you love to do?
Ask someone what they are grateful for.
Share your personal gratitude today with someone from your Family, from your house, with someone that you might be on the phone with. Watch and hear with your senses open to how this Person responds.
If you dare to share your gratitude with the excited bird you observed at your sit spot, and how you watched its behavior changes.
Write or paint about your experience into your journal.
What were you grateful for?
What was the other person, or people, grateful for?
How did the bird react after you shared your gratitude at your sit spot?
Maybe you want to start a list of people you are thankful for in your life.
I am getting more and more excited about this journey and look forward to the coming days.
